development, application support, and IT Business Analysis. We are
seeking an IT professional for the position of Business
Intelligence/Data Warehouse Architect.
Duties & Responsibilities:
The Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse Architect will be
primarily responsible for designing and developing Business
Intelligence and Data Warehouse solutions for our on-island client
base. This position will require an individual with strong
technical abilities who can work with users to develop requirements
and then design and build complete Microsoft SQL Server based data
warehouse and business intelligence solutions. In addition
they will also be required to undertake account management,
planning and budgeting. This individual will be required to provide
technical leadership to other staff members and mentor more junior
staff from time to time, develop internal procedures, standards,
and processes to manage our Business Intelligence/Data Warehousing
System Development Life Cycle.
Minimum Skills, Qualifications &
Experience:
- Bachelors' Degree preferably in Computer Science, Business
Management, Engineering or a related discipline
- At least 5 years' experience in developing Business
Intelligence/Data Warehouse solutions preferably using the
Microsoft BI products
- At least 3 years' experience with the Microsoft BI products
including SQL Server database, Analysis Services, Reporting
Services and Integration Services.
- Excellent technical skills with Data Warehouse design and
Relational database technologies
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multi-task with a variety of clients
- Ability to live in or relocate to Bermuda for a minimum of 2
years (Candidates must be able to obtain an entry visa as per list
of visa Controlled Nationals at www.gov.bm, National Security,
Immigration, Home, Passports and Visas)
